Combo: Acropolis Museum Tickets + 2-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Tour of Athens

I liked that I could fast track, this worked easily and efficiently but once inside I was not able to listen to the audio guide I had payed for.

Everything was great. The audio code did not work so it did not let me download the audio guide. I found out the museum has their own free audio guide which worked.

Everything was fine but the audio guide was confusing. We paid an extra £2 each for the audio guide, and it was actually a free service at the venue by scanning a QR code. This was a small charge, but being made unnecessarily, the principle was disappointing.

Few ladies toilets , long queues, some were shut during visiting times. One lady was locked in the toilet on the ground floor by the coffee shop. I was asked to leave my handbag at the vesbiary because they considered it to be backbag which was NOT. It was a bag with variablr straps that could be on the shoulders but also could be held on hand. I had to buy a cloth bag from the souvenir shop to put my essentials ie my purse and water. The lady at the entrance said i am only doing my job, she did not offer an option or a solution. It seemed as if she did not care or could not think outside the box. I had to come up with an idea to buy a cloth bag from the suvenir shop. I knew no backbags eere allowed and i still insist mine was not a backback. Besides that the experience was very good . Could have put some explanation of what were the ruins below the museum though.

The drivers only . Most (not all) of the drivers weee rude or aburpt with most people. One in particular was so angry with everyone on the street other drivers and he was swearing very bad - insulting to people who understood - I am a Greek visitor from overseas he didn't know I speak Greek and he was very bad. So these epriecnes do not show true Greeks and Greece mannerism / embarrassing.

Well organized. Getting on and off without any problems. Staff at stops very helpful. Drivers were also great. Booking also went smoothly. The city tour was a bit short, but perfect as I was restricted to walking.

Excellent experience , with all signed to the most interesting points of Athens , such as acropolis, museum, temple of zeus, etc. The pyreo line takes you to the harbor and planetarium. With the beach line you can get to some of the beaches of athens.

The bus tours were great and the drivers very helpful. However the bus system is very confusing to many guests and there was so much confusion at the pick up points particularly the busy Acropolis stops. Many people found this very stressful. The notes on the booking system need to be clearer about the tour buses iin hat there are different companies they have different coloured buses and tickets are not interchangeable on routes. The buses are blue, red and yellow and confusingly the three routes are blue red and yellow. We had blue bus tickets and therefore get the blue bus on the red, yellow are blue routes. Sounds obvious but there are loads of people scrabbling around sand very little direction or help!

the museum was interstingbut mainly very esthetic. however, the musium guide (instument) was poor in level and interest. i would have been much better to join one of the giudes or trying the museum instument

Limited signage at museum entry point. Confusing signage saying switch off phones and don't use, yet that's how audio guide is played. Had to check bag into cloakroom, which was fine, but saw lots of people with bags inside the museum. Some attendants telling people to not take photographs but same attendant letting others do this. No consistency. Expected audio guide to be given out but had an iPhone with no headphone connection jack, so audio was useless.

It was pretty easy to use. We also got a pair of in-ear headphones to listen to the audio guide if we want and a map with the bus route.

Amazing museum. Good videos and descriptions along the way. Love the way the Parthenon was set up so that you get a sense of its size.

Of course, being on the Acropolis and seeing the Parthenon was fantastic. Skip the line ticketing made for shorter lines and quick entry.

Our visit to the Acropolis Museum in Athens was an unforgetable experience. The museum collection, organizarion and curatorship is fantastic.

The museum itself was awesome. The problem i had was the audio was in English but spoken by a non English speaking person with a heavy accent so for all purposes it was impossible to understand her and therefore what i was looking at. I was extremely disappointed in but getting the history i so wanted to understand. Also. The museum changed it's hours due to the holiday but didn't list it on the website. So twice we arrived and the museum was closed. We weather alot of time due to this plus we didn't have enough time left once it was open to see the exhibits as long as we would've liked to because we planned all our time around other sites and their hours etc. I really could not fit the life of me understand why a non natural or clear English speaking person was chosen to do an audio for English speaking people?!?!? I was going to ask for a refund but i was too busy doing my other site seeing. Thank you

So glad we purchased the tickets on line. The museum was a great experience and we learned so much about the history. Be sure to watch the movie it provides a lot of important detail and all that went on with this remarkable landmark.

The Tour was exceptional. I used the Free Audio guide provided by the Museum. I felt cheated as I was trying to order from the Museum site not this intermediary.

The exhibit was amazing. The building itself is beautiful and presents the collection in the best way. Enjoyed it so much

How we got to see many things with this bus ride. It was a great way to see things and get ideas of where to stop and explore further.

The good part--I got an e-ticket to the Acropolis Museum and didn't have to stand in line. The so-so part--the audio tour of the Museum that I paid an extra 2 Euros for. The app for the audio tour decides what to tell you by using your location in the museum. It kept losing track of where I was and starting over at the beginning. I scanned the QR code posted in the museum, and used the ear buds I had brought to listen to the museum's free audio tour instead.
